BETTING RULES

PART A: GENERAL BETTING RULES

These Betting Rules apply to all betting activity when Members use their Account and must be read with the General Terms. MintSports records, applicable Australian law, the General Terms and these Betting Rules are the final authority for determining validity and settlement of Bets.

MintSports reserves rights to suspend odds, close markets, refuse or void bets where required by these rules, law, integrity concerns, timing requirements, technical incidents or errors.

Key General Clauses

  • Final authority: MintSports records and official governing body results.
  • Betting deadlines: markets may close before event start; late accepted bets may be voided.
  • Multi Bets: settled per leg outcomes, with changed legs adjusted to 1.00 where applicable.
  • Related contingencies in Multi Bets are not accepted unless specifically offered.
  • Dead heat outcomes are settled under the Dead Heat Rule.
  • Venue change rules, postponed/abandoned event rules and overtime treatment apply per specific sport rules.

PART B: SPORTS AND NOVELTIES

Specific rules apply for each listed sport and novelty category including, but not limited to:

Athletics, AFL, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball (International/Australia), Boxing, Commonwealth Games, Cricket, Cycling, Elections and Politics, Darts, Golf, Gridiron, Hockey, Lawn Bowls, Motor Racing, Netball, Olympic Games, Oscars, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Soccer, Surfing, Tennis, Volleyball and Yachting.

Each category includes dedicated settlement logic for abandoned/postponed events, overtime/extra-time handling, player participation requirements, and market-specific outcomes.

PART C: RACING (THOROUGHBRED / HARNESS / GREYHOUNDS)

  • General racing rules, race transfer/postponement/abandonment rules.
  • Dead Heat and scratching/deductions framework.
  • Win limits, tote dividend calculation and pool integrity protections.
  • Racing products including Best Tote, Exotics, Racing Derivatives, Top Fluctuation, BOB, Fixed Odds and SP.
  • Victorian and non-Victorian deduction schedules.
  • Racing futures and Same Race Multi (SRM) rules, limits and payout caps.

BetBuzz SGM RULES

Same Game Multi rules apply across listed sports including American Football, AFL, Baseball, Basketball, Cricket, Football (Soccer), Ice Hockey, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Tennis.

SGM sections define result logic, player participation conditions, overtime handling, postponed/abandoned match treatment, venue changes and market-specific settlement behaviour.
